Goodwill Announces New CEO

Effective Thursday, March 1, 2012 Goodwill Industries of Alberta is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Dale Monaghan as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President of Goodwill Industries of Alberta.

Mr. Monaghan brings 20 years of business experience to Goodwill with experience in a variety of areas including government, private enterprise and social enterprise. In his last role as COO of the Mikisew Group of Companies, Mr. Monaghan managed eight companies over ten years and grew a platform of success of these businesses and employment opportunities for first nation’s people.  During his tenure, the Mikisew group won awards in a variety of areas, including an Aboriginal Business Best Practices Award in 2010.

Mr. Monaghan has a passionate believe in the mission of Goodwill and our give/get philosophy, when you give Goodwill, you get Goodwill.    Mr. Monaghan’s appointment will bring a new vision to Goodwill, supporting growth of our mission to support individuals with disabilities in job  training and employment, create a successful social enterprise through our donation centers and retail locations to support the growth of that mission.
