Goodwill at Edmonton South Park Opening on December 14, 2017

After 26 years in the community, Goodwill Southside Store and Donation Centre is moving to a new location. You’ll find the new donation centre, corporate offices, and largest store in Alberta opening at Edmonton SouthPark: 3803 Calgary Trail on December 14, 2017.

For those of you who enjoy shopping, donating, and volunteering at the Southside Store and Donation Centre, you’ll appreciate the new location even more. It will be the largest store in Alberta, and the third largest retail store in Canada, with just under 16,000 square feet for shopping. You'll also find ample parking at the new location.

Goodwill's new SouthPark replaces the Goodwill Southside Store and Goodwill’s Edmonton head office. The old store, donation centre & offices at 51st Avenue closed on November 28, 2017, and the new SouthPark donation centre started accepting donations on December 1, 2017.

Our spacious new retail store at SouthPark will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on December 14th at 8:50 am, with the store opening to our valued shoppers at 9:00 am.

President and CEO Dale Monaghan summed up our appreciation to Edmontonians recently.

“We’re proud of our success and the community’s support that helped us grow from one store in Edmonton in 1963 to now opening the largest Goodwill store in the province.”

We hope to see you at our newest store, Goodwill SouthPark, on December 14th. Remember, with every donation and every retail purchase, you help us achieve our mission:

Connecting Albertans with disabilities to
meaningful employment in your community.

Goodwill is a non-profit and a registered charity dedicated to providing meaningful employment and career development training for Albertans with disabilities. We reinvest in our mission a full 88.8% of revenue generated from the sale of donated items in our thrift stores like the new store at SouthPark.

Goodwill’s Southside store at 8759 - 51 Avenue closed on November 28th. We are accepting donations at our new SouthPark donation centre starting from December 1st.
