The Calgary Hitmen's Teddy Bear Toss is an annual event where fans throw thousands of new stuffed animals onto the ice after the team scores its first goal. The toys are then collected and donated to local charities and the Alberta Children's Hospital for the holidays.
Can't make the game on December 7th at the Saddledome?
Goodwill is proud to be a partner location to collect Teddy Bears for the event. Visit a Goodwill location in Calgary from November 21st - December 5th to drop off and donate a Teddy Bear. The bears will then be collected and distributed to over 60 organizations in the Calgary area to families and kids who can use some cheering up over the holiday season.
