Goodwill is once again proud to sponsors the stylists contest at Western Canada Fashion Week.
Participants have a set budget and are required to rework gently used clothing to create a unique persona style. Each participant will style one outfit to be judged by industry professionals. The winning design will be judged on resourcefulness, creativity and forecasting trends. All outfits are purchased at Goodwill. The winner receives a 10 piece collection to be shown at the following year’s Fashion Week. Last season’s winners Brittanee Tomkow and Lance Chung will be showing their ten piece collection this fall.
Friday, September 23 7 pm – 11 pm,  Trans Alta Arts Barns
The first place winner will receive:
A runway showcase including models, makeup/hair artists and photographer to present a stylists collection in March 2011. Also include is technical team support to facilate your show to a value of $1500., A $750 allowance from Goodwill for clothing and accessories of the ten piece collection.
Entry fees are $75.00 and the application can be found at Western Canada Fashion Week.
