As local businesses reopen, the struggles of lost revenue and closures throughout provincial shutdowns still weigh heavy on our minds. It is more important now than ever to support local.
We stepped out of our immediate households and optimistically asked “how can we support our community?”
We are thankful to partner with and support local business Cody & Sioux to give you lots of options to make your Stampede style unique.
Rope in Some Good, our partnership with Cody & Sioux in Calgary’s historic Inglewood brought the community together to offer Goodwillians like you a look at a local boutique. Upstairs, Cody & Sioux offers new and modern western wear, with a western-focused consignment shop, ReWest downstairs. Goodwill gave away three $50 Cody & Sioux gift cards to those who visited the shop and entered to win between April and July.
Congratulations to the winners of Rope in Some Good:
Thank you to everyone who participated in Rope in Some Good. Whether you donated, engaged online, or took the time to support local, you’ve made a positive impact within our province. Thank you to our partner, Cody & Sioux for working with us in building up our communities and for donating what was left at the end of ReWest's season.
Along with our partnership with Cody & Sioux, Goodwill makes it easy to support local when you're shopping for your perfect Stampede outfit. Every year, you can find western-wear displays in all Calgary Goodwill locations. You will find hats, boots, bolo ties, and all your clothing and accessory needs. Giddy up!
